He was born in Dongyang of Zhejiang province in 1954, graduated from the major of Water supply and drainage engineering, Logistical Engineering University in 1977, engaged in the wastewater treatment and engineering design for more than 20 years. As a National Registration Water Supply and Drainage Engineer, has much experience in processing industrial wastewater, urban sewage treatment and water reuse technology. Now, he is a master tutor in the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Zhejiang Gongshang University, and the main speaker teacher for the courses of "water pollution control projects" and "water quality engineering". He got a first prize of Science and Technology Award in a ministry level, and one award of second prize and third prize of Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology, hosted and participated in three items of the provincial major scientific and technological project. He has published more than 20 papers in domestic and international journals, and three teaching materials as the editor or the member. His Main research directions are wastewater treatment and recycling technologies, and the sludge reduction mechanism and process study of aquatic worms.
